We identified the opportunity to create sustainable food cover lids in the IKEA cafe following a site visit and consultations with the IKEA kitchen team. The lids were custom designed to fit in IKEA’s unique service trays to make it simpler and faster for staff members in serving customers. The lids would not only save IKEA time, money, and waste in replacing plastic cling wraps, they further strengthen the company’s sustainability brand.

We have worked with Coles to create a more sustainable deli operation. Following consultations with the procurement and Delicatessen teams, we have custom designed food cover lids to replace plastic cling wrap in the Coles deli. The lids would not only ensure the food remains fresh for customers, they would also save the deli staff time in displaying meat products during the day and storing them overnight.
